Triple Hops with a Cherry On Top.

Hello and welcome to new and old followers! Thanks for visiting me at my own humble, little corner of the blogosphere. My name is Amanda, I'm 23 (soon to be 24, ack!), and I work in a library. Just a warning, right now my posts are more than a little erratic, but that's because my coworker is leaving on maternity leave, I'm picking up some extra hours to cover, and my schedule is.. all over the place.

I review books here, as well as Romance Reviews Today. Reading is my all-time favorite past time, and I love everything from Science Fiction to Suspense. But my true favorite? Romance! Be it Young Adult romance, historical romance, paranormal, etc.. I'm a big fan. And therefore you'll see me review a lot of that. There might be the occasional weird book thrown in because I'm reading something for work (I help out in our Teenzone, as well as help run a book club for our patrons), so be warned!

If you'd like my button, you can pick it up from the righthand sidebar, and should you want to follow me on Twitter or Goodreads, you can grab those links from the lefthand sidebar. And keep an eye on my "Contests/Upcoming Excitements" box - I currently have a contest running!

Now on to the hops!

Book Blogger Hop
How many books are currently in your TBR pile? Ugh, more than I can handle! My To Be Reviewed pile is pretty huge (metaphorically.. since a lot of them are ebooks), and my To Be Read pile is.. well, all those books piled up all over my room. I also have a separate To Be Reviewed pile for Romance Reviews Today that's about seven to ten books tall.

Genre wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite? That would be Romance, for sure. And which book made it my favorite? Probably either "Bet Me" or "Faking It" by Jennifer Crusie. I was mostly a fantasy/sci-fi girl (that was my aunt's doing) until Mom handed me "Bet Me" and then "Faking It" to read. I was hooked!

Saturday is a busy day for me - family breakfast for father's day, baby shower, taco/margarita night at a friends - but if you comment on Saturday, no worries! I will get back to you. =)
Happy Reading!

Whatcha Got Wednesday #31

Welcome to another edition of Whatcha Got Wednesday! WGW is my own little weekly meme where I talk about what I bought or received in the past week. I don't do this to brag, but to spotlight books that I might not get to for a while, or might not review at all - Such is the case with my Romance Review Today books, since I don't review those here.

Well, let's get to the books!

WON:
"Demons are a Girl's Best Friend" by Linda Wisdom (ARC)
"Ripe for Pleasure" by Isobel Carr (ARC)
"Love Drunk Cowboy" by Carolyn Brown (ARC)
"SEALed Forever" by Mary Margret Daughtridge (ARC)
Thanks to Love To Read For Fun for the above books!

Also pictured above is the HUGlight I won! Months ago, HUGlight was giving away a Kindle to one of their facebook fans, so I joined. And every week, they give away free HUGlights to a couple fans. Well, I was lucky enough to win one. They're pretty cool little gadgets, you can wrap it around your neck for a hands free light, or even curl it and shape it so it sits up on its own! My Grampa already has a plan in place to steal it from me. =)

I've been reading (I recently finished "Beg for Mercy" by Jami Alden - AMAZING), but haven't been writing the reviews, arg. I'll be so glad to get back into my regular reviewing schedule.

Did you guys get anything cool this week? Let me know in the comments, or link to your mailbox post!
Happy Reading!

GIVEAWAY: Two copies of "Reality Stinks" by Ashlynn Monroe!

************* CONTEST CLOSED, THANK YOU! ******************

Reality Stinks

Hello all! Please help me welcome Ashlynn Monroe as she drops by as part of her Book Lovin' Bitches ebook tour! Ashlynn has a very special treat for us today, she's giving away TWO copies of her novel "Reality Stinks!"

Let's learn a little more about this great book!
About the book: When Dina’s wellspring of reality television program ideas runs dry, she’s desperate to save her job. The only way she can do that is to come up with something brilliant; I want to date a superhero. Unfortunately, the only superhero she knows is Zane Blair. He’s the only man she’s ever loved. Comedy hijinks ensue when you combine one reluctant bachelor, ten attention seeking woman, and one very evil super villain for reality TV.

That sounds hilarious! I'd love to see how the villain gets mixed in.

Ashlynn wanted to say a little something about the book:
I wrote this book long before I was published to cheer myself up. I needed a chuckle and because I was dealing with my own personal drama and trauma the book has a dark side, but it's balanced by the comedy. I really hope you'll love these characters as much as I do. They really got me through some dark days. I'm working on Ella's story and I'm hoping it'll be as entertaining to readers as Dina's story is.
